I hope conservatives realize that everything manufactured in America still relies upon raw materials and intermediate goods imported from China and elsewhere, and that many of the imported products are in the position of "Buy from us with our tariff up charge, or don't buy it at all".

"What in the hell do we actually send to China?" well, the last time Trump got into a pissing match, you lost a quarter million jobs and had to spend tens of billions of dollars bailing out the agricultural industry after our soybean market went bankrupt.

@ Let's see... rice, beef, corn, dairy, cotton, and other agricultural products by the billions so I hope you're ready to pay billions upon billions in emergency subsidies to keep the "independent" Midwest from going bankrupt. Also crude oil, coal, and other natural resources, manufacturing parts, industrial chemicals, airplane parts....

@ Trump's term's going to be a disaster on the agricultural market. His tariffs are going to cost our farm industry hundreds of billions, he cancelled the programs where the government buys food from farms for food banks, leaving our private farmers with bills they can no longer afford after using that contract money to invest and expand, and he's guaranteed that California's going to have a drought this summer when he dumped their summer water supply uselessly.
