@johnking1978 Ever looked up how long the shoreline of the United States is? about 70K miles longer than the general coastline.

The place where all the lost socks go.

No it doesn't. Nasa means "lift up", an albeit rather appropriate name. Deception is Nasha, a similar word. How does this prove anything? NASA isn't even the original name; it was originally NACA, the government's WWI-era aeronautics research organization, and they changed the name when space flight became an issue. Besides, organizations have unintended acronyms all the time. My favorite was one of those senior citizen emergency response centers whose initials were D.O.A (dead on arrival). Why would anybody in their right mind reveal their secret in such a manner that COMPLETE OUTSIDERS would figure it out anyways? Now you have an even bigger conspiracy as to why the Jewish community at large doesn't simply blab, especially if any of their members convert to other religions. Don't believe a word the anti-NASA people say either. The Apollo hoaxers are so shady that their leaders (the ones who have made tens of thousands of dollars in merchandise sales off the so-called hoax) have been CAUGHT RED-HANDED manipulating their footage to remove portions of the original that flat-out disproved them.

@floydx492 ..... but one degree of tilt on a ball the size of the Earth is almost 70 miles.
1
And yet conspiracy theorists tend to believe anything they see on the internet as long as it makes the government look evil.

@jandrost4664 The Bible is not proof. How do you KNOW that anything in it actually true? You aren't the only religion claiming their texts to be divinely inspired.
1
...... why would they talk about something NASA never said? That's YOUR SIDE's words, not theirs.
1
Just remember: the worst thing about America is that stupid people are allowed to vote.
1
Okay, and how do we know that anything in the Bible actually happened?

@alexb9428 You mean the guy that can't understand the problems his own argument has against his own model? Perhaps you can give him a hand and answer for him. Why does the gas in the atmosphere not expand to fill the container, violating the very same "laws of thermodynamics" he's trying to use?

Just as a reminder, we already know for a fact that liquid can stick to the sides and bottoms of objects in the presence of a force capable of attracting it because we have liquids that stick to magnets.

The sun isn't in the clouds. It's so bright that it's bleeding over the thinner parts in the camera in those videos. I would like to point out, by the way, that the highest clouds (which are not the type in those videos) are measured at about 50 miles high. 50 miles by 3,500 miles - the approximate distance between London and the equator, places the sun at ~0.82 degrees above the horizon from the largest city in Europe at noon on the equinox. On the other hand, if the clouds were 3,000 miles high (the distance Flat Earthers normally claim the sun is), then the same clouds would be visible for thousands of miles in every direction just like the sun is so you're wrong either way.
1
Then why do Flat Earthers literally worship Eric Dubay like he's the next messiah?
1
@nautilus3074 Because they do? I was commenting on the OP's comment that "Flat Earth doesn't have leaders" when it's pure horseshit.
1
So fun fact.... the Flat Earthers have been caught cropping those photographs to hide the curve
1
If Flat Earthers could do the math, they wouldn't be Flat Earthers.
1
...... but a large percentage of Flat Earthers are Bible-thumpers. Aren't the ultra-religious usually Republican?
1
Except that in physics, an object launched from a moving object travels at the COMBINED speeds. This has been observed and proven countless times, and if it weren't the case, you would be arrested for having loose objects on that airplane for endangering everybody onboard because the instant they left your hand, they would appear to rocket "backwards" as the plane moved at 500 MPH beneath them.
1
@Alan-nq5xg ..... the spinning of the Earth in the poster's comment? The Flat Earth argument is that the movement of the ground would affect the flights of airplanes flying above it.
1
Just as a reminder, anybody that tells you that the Earth is on pillars because that's what the Bible says is lying. The Bible clearly states, in the book of Job, that it hangs from nothing (in other words, it's floating in midair without anything holding it up. An object that is resting on something beneath it doesn't hang.) So, the Bible contradicts the Bible on this.

@nautilus3074 Sausage Earth is blasphemy. The one true shape is a loaf of scrapple.
