  5. I really don't understand this "no delay". Have you even WATCHED it?? The astronauts take 4-8 seconds to respond, much longer than the delay should be. The reason that there's no delay on Nixon's end is because it's being recorded on Earth, not when it reaches the moon.

  20.  @martinlayne1299  You can't feel constant speed. You can only feel acceleration, whether it's changes in speed and change in direction. Mechanical devices can't either. The speedometer on your car tells speed by measuring an electrical current created by a magnet on your axle. It has no clue how fast you're actually moving. The amount of directional change you'd feel from your 1000 mile per hour spin would be less than waht you'd feel sitting on the hour hand of a flower clock. Interesting fact. Flat Earth's spotlight sun would not create opposite seasons in the north and south. Even though the sun is higher in the sky when it moves south, unless the light radius gets larger, you will still have less than twelve hours of sunlight every day unless it's large enough that the North still has more than 12 hours of sunlight. That's why the crescent moon shaped light pattern on the Flat Earth maps looks really weird and why you will be immediately banned if you ask the Flat Earth leaders if you ask how that happens. If the Earth were actually flat and Australia abolished Christmas, we'd be able to rename it to Narnia.

  23.  @allencharlei8351  Allen.... there are three major forms of heat transfer: convection (heat transfer from being in hot air), contact, and radiation, which covers being near a hot object. Sunlight is radiation heat. Radiant is the EASIEST form to deal with because you can reflect most of the incoming/outgoing energy. Firefighting proximity suits and entry suits are resistant to temperatures about 2-3,000F radiant.

The heat gets inside because the foil is absorbing the AIR inside the oven, not the direct radiative heat coming off the coils.. If you tried this in a vacuum, your potato wouldn't cook.

Their exploration went nowhere, the colony in Greenland collapsed and was abandoned within 300 years, and the Vinland Saga was believed to be mythology until recently.

God routinely kills and curses the innocent as punishment for the actions of others. This includes entire bloodlines of people that haven't even been born yet. God condones and aids one of his prophets in killing random children in horrible, gruesome manners in personal revenge over nothing more than petty insults. These are NOT Good acts. He is Lawful Neutral at best. Also, if the only way to heaven is to worship Jesus, what happens to people that don't even know about them? If a person is born into a civilization with little no knowledge of Jesus and dies without ever learning, are they just damned without even having had a chance for salvation? I mean.... God deliberately chose to wait 1500 years for missionaries to reach the Americas, and Asia, and the Pacific, and lower Africa instead of sending more prophets to these areas, so that's BILLIONS of people. Creating souls just so that he can damn them is more evil than anything Satan ever does. And the only people Satan ever kills in the entire bible are killed on God's direct orders.
