You are aware that being married affects who gets your stuff when you die and how much you pay in taxes right? Since you don't want the government interfering with religion, let's keep the government out of it completely. Nobody gets marriage tax breaks. That'll make you happy right?

@FleagleSangria I'm not sure in what universe Islam counts as a "godless" religion considering that they worship YOUR god under a different name and still venerate Jesus as a prophet, just not the messiah. Besides, you're the ones that built a golden idol to a man that gassed a church so he could wave a bible upside down on camera.

Also Judaism believes that you are a cultist of a False Prophet because Jesus failed to fulfill the messianic prophesies, broke God's covenant and changed his eternal laws, and claimed to be God in the flesh when in Judaism, God has no physical form and will never take one.

@FleagleSangria You've been claiming that "Jesus is coming soon" for two thousand years now, and considering that he was supposed to come back before the Apostles died, seems more like he abandoned you. You will not live to see it, nor will your children, nor their children, nor their children. In another 2,000 years, you'll still claim he's "coming soon."

@FleagleSangria Have a statistics test in two days, sorry. I will say this: I'm agnostic. I don't know if there is a god, and unless God starts performing open miracles again, I believe it is impossible for mortals to find out. I do not believe that the Bible is accurate, particularly the older parts of the Old Testament. Some of the newer stuff may be historical fiction, but Genesis is almost certainly fiction or allegory. The same goes for all religious texts of all religions. If whatever is out there has contacted the mortals at all and isn't just content to watch, it is far more likely that any 'word' they the mortals has been lost to history and that humans simply created their own or warped it to the point of being completely unrecognizable from the original.
