There are about 130,000 schools in our country. You would need a very, very large number of additional guards to be hired and I don't see a single Republican youtube commentator volunteering.

Just remember when it comes time to vote that it was the Republicans that tried to make it illegal to enforce federal gun laws in the next state over because they want criminals to be armed. Dead children are good for business.
2
They also know that schools make the biggest headlines.

So why didn't God just collapse the ceiling on her? Why did he do nothing to stop her? Send no angels to try and convince her to stay her hand? No snow day or something to prevent a tragedy he knew was going to happen? Why does this KEEP happening? How many prayers are needed before God lifts a hand to stop the next one? God allows evil to happen because without evil, humans would not worship God. He doesn't care if your children live or die as long as you praise him for it.

Thoughts and prayers are the most insulting thing you can give. Empty words to pretend that you care while doing nothing.

The amount of effort it would take God to simply clap his hands and collapse the ceiling on a shooter is completely inconsequential, and yet time after time after time, he does literally nothing to stop them and nothing to prevent it. You should be praying for God to hand the throne of heaven to somebody that will.

@dianahaist6073 And so do the gods of other religions; those premonitions don't just come from Christians. Other religions claim to have them too, and there's no reason why God would gift those people. Stop covering for a lazy deity that demands worship under threat, then abandons his "beloved children" in need.

No, it's not.

And when Christians and other religions commits hate crimes against gays, you praise the terrorists and throw your bibles around to praise the shooter.
1
@s3v3n3 Just remember that whenever there's a hate crime against LGTBQ, the Christians praise the shooter and angry that they didn't kill more. That's what you did in Orlando...
1
Why don't you pray for Jehova, God of Sloth, to do something? How many prayers does it take to get His Royal Laziness to actually protect people from being murdered in the first place?
1
... for one or two shooters? Christians are mad because that's YOUR job.

@castanza128 Two guards per school is half the active duty army. It's baffling that you think that'd be hired overnight. As far as priorities: the State of Missouri tried to make it illegal to enforce federal gun laws last year. This was, of course, struck down as unconstitutional. Your NRA lapdogs have now openly stated that they want criminals to be armed and for the police and federal investigators to be powerless to stop them until somebody is dead. Seems like our priority should be voting the Republicans out of office.

You people called the Orlando nightclub shooter a hero. Just remember that.
1
You mean.. there's a chance that nobody else would be killed. One of these days there's going to be an "armed good guy" on campus. And one of these days, the killer's going to shoot the armed good guy first and take their fully loaded gun with them.

Dear God. Please stop the deaths next time,. You have the ability to. You hear the cries for help, and you do nothing to stop it. If all you care about is worship and are not willing to protect your children, please do the honorable thing and step down and hand the throne of heaven to somebody that will Amen.

@theycallmeblue1502 ..... are you batshit insane? If a person is willing to break the law to get a gun, and they catch them, they should go to prison, not be left wandering the streets so that psychopaths like you can pretend to be a hero. Oh, and you know where they get the guns from right? They either have somebody else buy the gun from them, go to online auctions and gun shows that are unregulated, or they target stores in weak gun control areas whose staff will deliberately bypass the laws to make sales. When ATF investigated Chicago a few years back, they found literally thousands of stores lying to them and making fraudulent sales, and they were all let off with warnings even when they should have permanently lost their license. That's real common sense there. Make illegal weapon sale carry the death penalty. No more minor fines and warnings that make drug laws look harsh, just have the bailiff drag them out back after the trial and put them down like a rabid dog. Chicago will clean up real f-ing fast because 1/4 of the guns come from a number of stores small enough to count on your fingers.

The people voting Republican after the party has tried to openly make it illegal to enforce gun laws should be deported. If they want criminals to openly purchase weapons, I say they'd do well in Guatemala.
1
How about we stop giving gun sellers "warnings" when they bypass laws and keep fake books and instead just put them down like a rabid dog?
1
Just remember: the Republican legislature of Missouri made it illegal to enforce federal gun laws in the state for about 6 months.

@jeffjansen582 And? There's nutters of all backgrounds. Most school and mass shooters in this country are straight male Christians. Christianity must therefore a mental illness that leads to murder and grounds to deny somebody a gun.

There are 130,000 schools in our country. There are not that many otherwise un-committed guards in the country. Why haven't you quit your job and volunteered yet?
1
.... but why does Voldemort care what muggle schools are doing?
