  2. 1. The photos are not faked and the hoaxers who have tried to claim they were have themselves been caught intentionally lying about their analysis. 2. Aldrin said they didn't go back. The hoaxers then cut out the part where he blames it on money and says several more times they went. 3. The hoaxers are lying when they claim they're from different locations. Those "identical landscapes" are from the same location maybe a few hundred feet apart. The only confirmed instance of this I've seen was from a third party documentary NOT produced by NASA, and is most likely an editing error where the wrong clip was used.

  3. Telescope resolution is limited by the physical size. We don't have one large enough to see anything smaller than ~1-200 feet across at that distance
