Maybe used to be true but as a american the grass is greener overseas. Usa is crashing and burning hard. Will break off the middle class soon enough.

Wanted to move to Japan after the marine corps in 2020 but it was closed to all foreigners, so I started to do research and Mexico city caught my eye when I went home to Alaska. When I visited the city I loved it so much three months later I sold everything and moved back to mexico. Been here ever since. But I ended up acquiring temporary residency for 4 years and will get permanent after that with zero issues thankfully.

Lmao 🤣 that I agree with after the marines I couldn't stay in the usa because mental health is not well in the usa I will say that. People have more sense abroad.

@babajaga8180 no luck needed. House here in the mexican caribbean and have plenty of passive income to not work period. Made the choice at 24 years old. 26 now and still good lol. Just want to visit poland and some other countries later this year with a buddy depending on how things go

@masterprophet8378 you are speaking the truth. Exactly why I moved to Mexico. Don't care if it costed 100x more as long as my quality of life is better. 2 years later worth the investment.

@babajaga8180 heck yeah man we are out here working smarter not harder. I'd take employment, but after my time in the Corps I got a few injuries so the va handles my stuff with that, and I focus on my financial coaching business here and there. What a time to be alive I'll give you that. I don't regret my decision at all leaving the usa.
