  1. Many barriers in the USA to excellent education for the vast population, especially obvious for the marginalized. Caste system based on wealth, ethnicity, and orientation is entrenched. And don’t name call me for stating the obvious. As a Ukrainian immigrant in Canada in the 50s, I received a great education albeit still biased by the British influence. 2 undergrad and 1grad degrees at a total cost of 5000$ while working summer jobs. Thank you America for rescuing my parents from brutal ruzzian soviet oppression enabling us to immigrate to Canada. We didn’t have much income as dad was formally uneducated, but we had good health dignity and opportunity. The rest we figured out with perseverance and hard work.
