Lads, these dogs are not banned in the UK. They are restricted, so they have to be registered and neutered, they must wear a muzzle in public, and you cannot breed them. Nicole could have followed all of those procedures and she'd still have been attacked. The problem is also that she had a pack of dogs in her home (4 I think), and a Staff Terrier joined the XL in attacking Nicole. Just yesterday I read of a pregnant XL that had been killed and dumped in a London park. The owners clearly hadn't followed the rules. It's sad for the owners and it's sad for the dogs; they didn't breed themselves to be strong and aggressive. That was humans.

@rayh9859 yeah I forgot that bit, they have to be kept on a short lead. I would not want one of these dogs. It's not their fault, I don't hate them, but I don't trust them.

There's an element of truth in it here because the owners decided to keep not one but a pack of dogs. The others are Staffordshire terriers.
