Once the apex of the rotor passes the exhaust port, the high-pressure combustion gases are free to flow out the exhaust. As the rotor continues to move, the chamber starts to contract, forcing the remaining exhaust out of the port. By the time the volume of the chamber is nearing its minimum, the peak of the rotor passes the intake port and the whole cycle starts again. The neat thing about the rotary engine is that each of the three faces of the rotor is always working on one part of the cycle. In one complete revolution of the rotor, there will be three combustion strokes.

Mazda has had a team working on the rotary up to this day. It’s small because they need Skyactiv to keep them afloat business-wise but Mazda is not going to give up rotaries until ICEs stop being built. @Flyingdutchy33 thank you sir why is he so dum dokterbimmer So if the piston can complete the full cycle once per revolution it’s a 2 stroke, if the piston completes full cycle in two revolutions it’s a 4 stroke, three revolutions a 6-stroke. only to now realize he's wrong. He's beyond humiliated.

But if it did, 1 rotor equals 2 pistons. That said, I'm sure someone will chime in to tell me how wrong I am. Mostly I just comment here because doktorbimmer does. And I just find it absolutely amazing someone who's that stupid and insecure hasn't comitted suicide yet. I know it's wrong, but I have to admit I try to push him over the edge until he finally releaves this planet of his existence. So...... your evidence to the contrary consists of: Nothing. Second, it really does sound like he slipped up and is the same person (Anthony). Congratulations, you finally have a 'victory' of sorts, after approximately 2 years of a dozen people expressing hatred towards you. If he slipped up and sent you something using the wrong name, I'd say it was becoming suspicious anyway because 'Ernie' and 'Anthony' seem to use the same short, strange phrases in their posts. Very strange. Too bad he's just making weird comments instead of really engaging with you, I know you're dying to destroy him online!
