Nobody's pushing anyone out of the workplace. There are vacancies all over the world in high-paying jobs requiring skills and expertise. The question is: what sort of skills and expertise do you have?

@Jamila91100 He always says "better living through Psychology" but some of the discussions are merely clickbait to attract a certain demographic without presenting suggestions for solutions or advancement. I also started watching because he covered some interesting topics, but some of this is just rabble-rousing.

@lotannaagu2693 There's no actual "argument" in the video. The advice I would give to you is to not get involved in a transactional long term relationship or marriage. Not all men think like this, but many of them do. You can identify them by their desire to always split everything financial 50/50 while leaving all the other work to the woman such as managing the household (cooking, cleaning, shopping, yard work, even maintaining automobiles), having the babies, helping with homework, getting kids ready for bed, giving him love, affection and sex, and on and on - while the woman works full-time in addition to all that. Many studies show that even when a woman works full-time, she handles the bulk of the household work and child-rearing. Men simply go to work and come home expecting sex and a hot meal. That's why women get fed up - they start to see their husbands as another child that they have to clean up after. It's not a woman's natural role to be the provider and if she's paired with a man who can't conceptualize being the family provider, the marriage is doomed. And it's also why so many men keep asking the dumb question "what do women contribute?" They themselves can't imagine doing so much unpaid work, that it's not even a theme for them.

@markadams9946 My experience has been that many men these days don't have a clue about gardening, home improvement and basic auto mechanics. It's awful. Whenever I'm at the auto parts store, I find myself asking, "what the heck am I doing here?" But, you know what - I'm usually not the only woman there.

True high-value men don't actually complain about being the provider for their wife and children. The reason why women don't like being in the position of a man is because it's unnatural.

@lotannaagu2693 I also don't think that Orion has been married or has any children, otherwise he wouldn't be thinking it's so clever to say "now you know what it feels like to be a man". How dumb. If your woman is feeling like the man in the relationship, then you (the man) are doing something wrong. And what he's doing wrong is not fulfilling his role as provider, protector and leader of the family.

@ready2 These videos are for "better living through Psychology". The creator of the videos says it himself. Women have been the prize throughout history and nothing has changed about that. The only thing different in the past 50 years or so is that the prize can decide who wins and gets to go home with it. 😂 Good looking available women are extremely rare.

@logicwins3492 I know multiple women who decided to have babies on their own. Why wait around for men to "pick" them when they had the resources and also extended family support?

@Yung Bali Most of them on here would rather try to convince women to lower their standards - that's easier than actually leveling up financially, intellectually, physically and spiritually. Seriously, I've have seen many men commenting under these videos that women should lower their standards (and that would solve all these problems).

@PlanetOfTheApes999 Money is not superficial. If you think about it that way, you will never have any. Here's the deal: as a woman, if you want money, it's much easier to go and get your own than to hunt down a man who is going to supply you with money. Now, the one and only "problem" is that a woman who is capable of earning the big bank generally will only find men of her caliber attractive as a mate and those men are in short supply. And no, they aren't any more sociopathic than broke men. Heck there's unemployed men all over the world treating their women like crap. Zero integrity, no moral values, just Godless. Warning! Poverty is not a virtue.

Yes, you are overthinking. Do not ever apologize for earning a lot of money or any other type of success. If people can't handle it, that's their own personal problem. And be aware - it's only broke men who use the words "gold digger". If anyone ever says that to you - his resources are small and he definitely isn't worth your time. Move on to a man of means.

@chiriviscospower Oh, MVito, I've heard the same lame discussion from mediocre white students when I was in medical school. And, in the end, it always proves true - those who are the least capable are the only ones concerned about this mysterious "affirmative action" which has never resulted in more than 3% Black medical doctors in the USA. LOL to the max. So, back to your comment. It's all good if women decide after a couple of years that they'd rather step down and vacate those top positions, right? That means that all equally or more qualified men will have their chance at some point. So, what's your excuse?

@DC-1773 I have a teenage son and I tell him to step up and be the best in every way. He's already started businesses and made profits. He wants to be a military officer like I was. It's up to you to raise your children the right way.

I found out a long time ago that I prefer rich men. They're just much more fun. You are correct though in that we women are not trying to compete with or out-earn men. We're just doing what interests us or what we are good at. I never even had such a thought about how my career or earnings would be perceived by anyone.

@lightworker2956 Nope. It's the middle-class guys with about only 1 million net worth (or less) who are always spouting something about "gold digger!". Very wealthy men never say anything like that - and it's because they have wealth that is secure and safe and they know how to make more and more money. The very wealthy men are also the most generous.

Women should follow their passions when choosing a career path. It would be nonsensical to suggest that women purposely limit their creativity, ambitions and earnings potential just so that maybe a "lower status" man may find her an acceptable option for dating and marriage. Preposterous. (And she would be dependent on his average or low income at that!)

@garcher2 Who are you to judge? I also know multiple women (professional women at that) who were dumped and abandoned by their men while they were pregnant (!) and ended up raising the child alone and those children turned out to be well-adjusted, successful adults.

@ryanschneer Yawn. Men are supposed to be the head of the household. You are supposed to want your wife to admire your abilities and competencies. And your wife is supposed to provide the babies and a loving, supportive home environment. So many of you guys are so completely emasculated (including this man making the video) that you are completely lost on what a man is.

@markaurelius61 You answered your own question: To get a woman and build a family with her while you're still very young (in your 20s), you will have to be way above the average guy in every way. But why the rush? Can you not take the time to get educated, build your business, career and wealth and then get serious about a family when you're in your mid to late 30s? Or early 40s? Even as a woman, I didn't get married (the first time) until I was over 30 and had a career and money. I had my first child when I was almost 39 and my second husband was 42.

@Monkechnology Not to be believed. When I got my B.S. in Engineering we were less than 5% women, so it's impossible that "women are taking all the jobs" in STEM fields. Tell it to somebody who doesn't know better. Same in the military we were on 15% female officers in the Air Force.

@mitragyninethespeciosa6891 I'm definitely above average in looks and have a great body. I get compliments every day. It also helps that I'm 5'10" (178) and have good fashion sense - all eyes are on me whenever I walk through the door.

@Jaliien It certainly is difficult to bring together a full time job as well as maintaining a household and taking care of children from infancy to high school, especially if your husband isn't pitching in. We're not talking about a single guy in a small apartment microwaving some food and doing one load of laundry per week.

Your point A) is very important, however it seems to never be addressed in this forum. I agree with your other points, except for C). I think that relationships are much easier with both partners are "equally yoked". Trouble arises when there are great differences in social status, educational background and financially. It would be stressful having an uneducated spouse when everyone in your extended family, social circle and workplace are highly educated.

@truthlemonade9793 Doctors tend to marry other doctors. I know many couples like this. My first husband was a doctor. It's easier because we have a better understanding of what each other is going through. Studies are showing that people are increasingly marrying within the same professional, educational and social strata. It's rare for a doctor to marry a nurse. In the old days, there weren't many female doctors, but now we are around 50%, so there's a lot of pairings among doctors, starting in medical school.

@truthlemonade9793 Male doctors are not concerned about their wives' income, but they do care about being married to someone with whom they can relate. Correct. You cannot take that Quora quote seriously. A doctor's income will depend on specialty. So, if she is in primary care, she would be earning less than her husband who might be in a Surgical specialty. It also works the other way around. A woman who is a Radiologist will be earning more than her husband who is a Pediatrician. She went part time because she wanted to. Women also dress up because they like to dress up. I always "dressed up" in undergrad (Engineering program) and in medical school - because that's the way I like to dress. If a woman wants to "snag" a rich man, there are plenty of places to do it, not just in school. Still, most CEO type men are not marrying their secretaries or administrative assistants. That's too damn weird and also unprofessional. Those women are working 40+ hours a week anyway. Pretty much nobody in a corporate setting dates within the workplace. It's too dangerous. I focus only on very successful people because those are the only types of people that I want around me, for the most part. As you become more financially successful, specifically - you will find that there is no benefit and it's actually a detriment to be around "poor" people because of their lack and scarcity mindset.

When you start earning a lot of money, the interactions with men get weird. They are uncomfortable if they earn less, but they won't say anything but instead become passive-aggressive at home because they feel envious, competitive and probably emasculated.

@meenki347 Women were captured and made to bear children to bring genetic diversity to various clans and societies. Women are prized for their unique ability to bear and feed children and no amount of reading is going to change that.

As a female medical doctor, most of us either marry other doctors or men who are entrepreneurs or who work in the financial sector. It's very rare that we "marry down" and from what I've seen, those marriages don't work. That aside, no one is elbowing men out of high-earning jobs. Either you've got what it takes or you don't.

Studies say that men and women are increasingly choosing mates of the the same status (financial, educational, social) as themselves and this is leading to an increase in the wealth gap. I'm a medical doctor and I was married to another doctor (my 1st husband) and many of the doctors that I know are also married to other doctors, a lot of times in the same specialty. It's not a scheduling nightmare with kids, as long as you are organized, which most doctors are.

@peterkottke2570 I know of at least one female doctor married to a physician assistant - actually I think he is a Pathologist Assistant, which is a 6-figure income job, in most places. She would earn more than him, though.

@fluentinoverthinking It's 100% true. The truly wealthy men will be asking you where you want to go, what do you need, and offering to pay for things spontaneously. Even buying you outfits to wear out on dates! They never suggest splitting the bill! They will pay for your taxi or arrange transportation. They demonstrate generosity. On the other hand. The moment a man starts acting squirmy and starts talking about splitting bills or you paying for what you ordered (especially if he's the one who invited you on the date), that shows clearly that he doesn't have much money (broke people are obsessed with money) OR he is not generous, but it's most often the former.
