  1. He's just flat out lying. I'm over 50 and divorced twice and I have an endless stream of men in my age group vying for my attention. All the men, with few exceptions, are also divorced and they say that they want a life partner to spend their golden years with. Men at that age are realistic and know that they will not be able to keep a 20 years younger woman happy and satisfied for decades.

  2. It's not the dying process that men are afraid of, it's realizing that they're going to go through decades of loneliness and have no legacy if they fail to establish a family. This reality usually hits them hard around their late 40s to early 50s. And by then it's nearly impossible for all but the wealthiest men to get a wife of child-bearing age.

  5. I'm divorced with children. I'm over 50, but look much younger and am still fertile and nearly all men my age look OLD and also have some health issues. It's slim pickings. sorry to be blunt.

  8. Women don't suffer from loneliness as much as men because they generally have a more extensive social network even if they don't have children.
