Eh. I've worked in 2 different jobs in Germany and had multiple job interviews there and salary was always discussed immediately. I guess it depends on how bad they want what you have to offer. One job even paid for a nanny to watch my toddler son while I met with the decision makers. 😅

@ormus64 I get job offers nearly every day because people who do what I do are rare. It's a simple matter of supply and demand. Plus I speak German, English and French and I have medical licenses in DE, CH and USA. Obviously, I'm in Switzerland now because all conditions are better than in Germany. I even get headhunters trying to recruit me for jobs that I've left. LOL
