Women can date and marry over and over past their 50s and 60s and beyond. Don't be fooled.

@khanhcao3123 The point is that the men and women over 40, 50, and 60 already have created a legacy and had children and been married and are looking for other attributes in a partner besides reproduction. It's still rare for a woman or a man to still be never-married and childless at 45. Look around in your family, workplace and community.

@markaurelius61 Women really only date to find a husband and they have more options than men when it comes to dating and marriage. Now, who says that all women have the goal of getting married in their 20s? Why should they do that when they're completing their education and having lots of fun, plus it's pretty much a guarantee that a 30-something attractive woman can get a husband if that's what she wants.

Most men and women already have children by the time they reach their late 40s to 50s, so it's a different dynamic in that age group. People are moving on to their second and third marriages by then.

Women plan months to years in advance for divorce once they have emotionally exited the marriage. Filing for divorce is not a spur-of-the-moment decision for women. Men always seem genuinely surprised and shocked when it happens, though.

@markaurelius61 Women have already snagged their first husband when she's in her 20s and 30s and she is moving on in her late 30s to 50s. That's what this whole discussion is about.
