Lack of sun is deadly. Get some sun.

no.

@tortelliniduck The sun doesn't only emit ultraviolet radiation. There's the visible light spectrum and infrared wavelengths which also have different beneficial effects on our bodies. It's foolhardy to avoid all sun exposure.

@tortelliniduck Brian is off his rocker and the 2,000 IU of D is not going to make a dent in his deficit.

@pok-e2o Proper nutrition supports DNA repair in the cells of your body. Covering up to the extreme (like places where women cover up entirely) is known to be a causative factor in many types of cancer because people who are not exposed to sun are vitamin D deficient.
1
That's because you can't absorb all the the vitamin D in pill form. It's best when your body makes its own.

You've been brainwashed. The Sun is what gives us life. Lack of Sun leads to cancer. It's well known.

@deepforestenergy60 There's no evidence showing that eating after 6 pm is dangerous. A lot of us are still working and doing other things at 6 and don't eat until 8. It's perfectly healthy to eat when you are feeling hungry.

A tan is just adaptation. It's not damage.

Are you vitamin D deficient?

But plenty of wrinkled people are making it to 100. 🤔

I don't think that you're supposed to have wrinkles at 30.

@Yarach I'm over 50 and have had a tremendous amount of Sun exposure from doing sports in Texas, for example, and I don't have any wrinkles. I was still getting carded for clubs and casinos until I was in my early 30s. There's more going on with wrinkling and sagging and skin cancer besides sun exposure. Plenty of people go out in the sun their whole lives and never get skin cancer. Think about it.

@Yarach Diet and nutritional status plus a genetic component.

The chemical sunscreens contain endocrine disruptors.

@giulia5340 All I know is that it will mess up your children's hormones, so guess what - they will not be used.

A tan is increased melanin in your skin, it's not DNA damage. When there is DNA damage (which happens all day in all sorts of cells in your body), there are repair mechanisms in place to repair the damage from any cause.
