1. A person needs a healthy biofilm. 2. Brush twice daily. Once in the morning upon waking and once in the evening. 3. Floss once daily, preferably in the evening. I never get cavities, nor pockets, nor plaque and I'm over 50.

@TheAnimeKers I always floss before brushing. That's what makes sense to me. As far as biofilm, I don't know why some people have a healthier one than others. For instance, my son is like me and doesn't get cavities. He uses a plain manual toothbrush and flosses. His father has endless dental issues, yet he uses an electric toothbrush, xylitol, etc.
