  4. not crazy at all. It makes no difference if you keep the loan to maturity and pay it off as you promised in the mortgage contract. It is only crazy if your son was planning to sell before the mortgage was over in some poorly thought out scheme to get rich or cheat the bank. @elizabethblane201

  5. Overpriced is not possible. Houses only sell for what someone will pay, for what they are worth. No one, of course, is going to pay more than they are worth.
