Its too bad not much of the tactical level detail of this battle has been preserved (or was even recorded). It would be interesting to see how the battalions and even companies down to individual tanks maneuvered and fought considering how dynamic it was.

You're an idiot. At the time of the Crusades, everyone was a "terrorist and babykiller" by today's standards. That is just how they did things. Even today guess what happens when you go to war? People get terrorized and babies get killed. Are you sure you are on the right channel troll?

@tomsemmens6275 Bones in the ground don't care. Your ancestor and all the others are now separated from us by 77+ years of time and space. It is more important that we remember them as they were and what they did as a culture. And that is why things like TiK's YT channel is so important. But yes, It's great that there are cemeteries that are protected. Hopefully they are still there.

The airspace over the actual battles was a little more contested than in rear areas too.

@mat_j Okay we are getting somewhere talking about crimes... So if I come across you in a dark alley and beat you down, but lose my knife, do you grab it and stab me and commit the crime of murder? Or do you passively retain your innocent virtue and allow me to kill you? This is the literal scenario in WWII and many other wars thru history. Also how most other wars are rationalized at the time, divorced from how some spoiled kid on the internet hundreds or thousands of years later will characterize their actions.
