  1. I would probably have done the same (except for the theft). Anyone reckless enough to run down and kill my child would pay with their life. I don’t trust the courts to do justice.

  4.  @jjtrucker5950  Pedestrians ALWAYS have the right of way, and drivers are ALWAYS responsible for controlling their vehicles, and for NOT hitting ANYTHING, especially other persons. You kill somebody, with your vehicle, that’s vehicular homicide (you get off only if the accident was unavoidable). You would ROT in prison. BTW, we DO teach our kids to stay out of the road, the problem being, kids don’t always obey. They don’t deserve to DIE for their foolishness!
