  1. Those are NOT “little brakes,” for a car this size! It is all relative to the weight of the car. Miata brakes are the equivalent of the much larger brakes found, believe it or not, in much bigger cars! I’ve had people remark about the tiny clutch on a Miata, compared with that on a Corvette! Well, pound for pound, and HP for HP, I bet, the Miata clutch is just as big!

  3. It’s way sportier than most of the cars we can buy today, that don’t cost more than I can afford! For one thing, it’s got a 4-speed! A 5 of 6-speed would be better, but not necessarily more fun…

  4. I would, and do go for the convertible. That drop top is one of several things that make Miatas SPECIAL. It is, IMHO, a waste to drive a hardtop (especially in warm weather)!

  6. And “taking it out and servicing it” is something I would expect a car like this to need, just a little too often! It is as exotic as a Ferrari, and in fact it is, to a large degree, a Ferrari! Wow!

  7. “The inner pipe is a smaller diameter than the outer pipe?” Now, if they really wanted to innovate, they’d make the inner pipe BIGGER than the outer pipe, eh? This Stelvio is PERFECT for anyone who wants a sports car, but needs an SUV! That exhaust note is KILLER!
