It seems to me, that given that this is not a settlement (the $370M is a fine, which will go to the state), that his victims can doubtlessly ALSO sue for compensation, in at least the same amount (which should be easy, given that he has already been found culpable by the state). It seems to me that DT owes his creditors AT LEAST another $370M. The $740M total amount is “more like it!”

Fani Willis’ personal affair should have no effect on the Trump fraud case. It doesn’t even matter if she “enjoyed a financial benefit” from their relationship. Couples commonly benefit each other in a relationship! It’s NOT a big deal, and it’s NOT a problem, though the defense will no doubt try to make it one. It is INFINITELY more important that Trump be prosecuted for the crimes we all know he committed, BEFORE he can become POTUS again (in which case he will sabotage the cases against him, i.e. tell Justice not to pursue them).

They are ALL overdue for repairs or replacement…

@KINGCONN990411 Exactly. Overdue maintenance, to the point repairs were needed. That is the case all over the US. No one wants to foot the expense, which will be astronomical, on their watch (they are all spineless non-leaders). Biden is the only politician in 40 years to address infrastructure! I saw this coming 50 years ago. They were spending a fortune building, without a penny set aside for maintenance or repairs! They refused to face the fact that everything needs to be maintained, and maintenance will cost MUCH MORE THAN BUILDING! Now we have a $1Tn worth of infrastructure, that needs $10Tn worth of work! When will it get it???

It looks like they could open the highway, if they would get their equipment out of the way!

$355M will wipe out what he claimed to have in cash. That together with the E. Jean Carroll settlement will come to about $88.3M will come to $443.3M, which is 43.3M more than he claims to have in cash. It looks like he will have to sell something, maybe several things, to come up with the difference.

@markd1810 LOL! You appear to know far less. The fine, which goes to the state, is not a settlement, which will be determined in separate, civil cases, which, we can reasonably anticipate, will come to a similar amount. What part of that are you too ignorant to understand?

I think it will be. The $370M is a FINE, which will go to the state. Trump will still owe his creditors about the same amount! He will be sued, and given that the state has already found him culpable for fraud, the courts will no doubt award THEM another $370M.
