  1. I am as worried about the nuclear threat as anybody, however, Ukraine cannot win this war with Russia if we hold her back! By not permitting Ukraine to strike inside of Russia, we are forcing Ukraine to fight with one arm tied behind her back! No one ever won a war by being passive! We will NOT win this war by holding back! We win wars by being AGGRESSIVE! I for one think that we need to call Putin’s bluff. He doesn’t want to be vaporized any more than we do, and he knows that our weapons are superior to his! He KNOWS, absolutely, that if he pushes his big red button, within 20 minutes, RUSSIA WILL NO LONGER EXIST. We need to send Zelensky all the weapons he needs, and we must permit him, if advantageous, to strike inside Russia. Only then will the cost of his war become fully apparent to Russian citizens. Only then will Russia fully appreciate the disaster it has created. Only then can the Russians be forced to withdraw from Ukraine - to defend their OWN territory.

  2. Purging the administrative state means firing all the career civil servants, the ones who know how things work, and how to get things done. They are the ones with the expertise needed to run giant government offices. Trump wants to replace them with loyal flunkies, who know nothing about those jobs, but who will say and do whatever Trump tells them to say and do, without regard for anything else. The federal government will become useless for providing services and benefits to the people. Government agencies, previously the most reliable sources of many kinds of information, would become nothing but propaganda tools. TV news programming will be compromised. The purge of the administrative state is certainly the most serious destruction Trump will likely do -in his first year, and probably the first step in cancelling Social Security, Medicare and the ACA. Electing Trump will, literally, be the end of progress in America. It will quite literally be the end of American civilization.

  3. If the Russians are willing to ESCALATE the war, why are we restrained? If we don’t respond in kind, or better, with overwhelming force, Ukraine will be overrun, or driven back, off their own territory. If we don’t give Ukraine enough weapons to drive Putin back, and out of Ukraine, the killing will continue, indefinitely. We need to send Ukraine our best and most sophisticated weapons, as soon as humanly possible. Their war is our war, for if we don’t stop fascism there, we will be fighting it on our doorstep, next.

  4. The SCOTUS just bestowed unlimited power on the POTUS. From now on, the POTUS will no longer be subject to the criminal laws. He will be free to have peaceful demonstrations machine-gunned. That will be his right! He will have every right to jail or even assassinate his political opponents. The law will not be able to touch him! IT’S ALREADY THE LAW! Biden could, according to the SCOTUS, have Trump killed… and the law could not touch him! Biden would never do it. He’s a moral man, but Trump? If the POTUS is going to be above the law, that law’s first victim should be Trump himself.

  7. Biden’s debt ceiling deal with the Republicrap is highway robbery! Democrats should NOT have agreed to cut ANY spending for the poor. We should have insisted that cuts come out of Trump’s tax cuts for the rich, or the (oversize) military budget.
