  1. Why did they shut that bar down? Was there evidence that they did something illegal? She was there “earlier in the afternoon.” Is there reason to believe she had her most recent drinks (i.e. several drinks too many) there? Or could she have been drinking somewhere else since then (and hence the blame, if any, might better belong to the 2nd or 3rd place)? Shutting the place down, for doing what they are legally licensed to do, sell alcohol, seems a bit excessive. Who is going to compensate them for lost revenue? When someone commits the crime of shooting, do we shut down the gun shop the sold him the gun legally? Now, the “accident,” if it was not a terrorist act, was horrible, unspeakably so, but adding additional injustices won’t make anything right.
