  2.  @6942O-n6n It’s not? Nothing is perfect. Toyota’s problem is enviable. It is so good, that the moment they make a single lemon, or two, apparently, every body is in a panic! Cars are complex, so however good their QC must be, sometimes something slips through the cracks. The ultimate test is that it doesn’t happen often and the company stands behind you. The bottom line is the customer must get what he just paid $60K+ for. In the case of Toyota, it must be very much worth the dealer’s effort, even if it costs them sometimes, to make sure that every customer gets what they paid for.

  4. I can’t resist saying this… a dealer would be unwise to stick a YT car reviewer with a lemon. Other people’s mileage may differ!

  5.  @futball24  ‘99, purchased in SoCal 15 years ago, still good! I love my 4Runner, would keep her forever, except for one thing, rust. I no longer live in SoCal…
