  1. There are clubs… which are one of the very best ways to get involved. You don’t even need a 4WD vehicle. If you perform a necessary role, you MAY be welcome to tag along!

  2. I have ALWAYS, for about 10-12 years at least, believed that. I had a Miata for 11 years, but felt I needed something more practical, so I got a GREAT old Toyota 4Runner (sold the ‘94 Miata). She has 4WD of course, buy also a 5-speed transmission, rear differential lock, etc. With the MT, I feel like I’m driving a sports car every minute! My sports cars (a 2013 BMW 128i and a 1997 Mazda Miata) are faster and handle better, but within its limits, the 4Runner is FINE! I must say, I enjoy driving the 4Runner about as much as I enjoy the other cars. If I had to choose just one of them to keep forever, it might be the 4Runner…
