  1. I notice all these modern performance cars have manual transmissions. For me, if I can have a good manual transmission, I wouldn’t mind driving a van… or anything else. For me, a manual transmission is the essence of driving. So why is it practically impossible to get one in an ordinary car???

  2. What is that big NUMBER in the middle of the dashboard? Is that telling the driver what gear he’s in? I would hate that! If that couldn’t be deleted, it would be a deal breaker! The whole point of a MT is to be in complete synchrony with the drivetrain, completely in tune with it. I (usually) know what gear I’m in!
