  1. THAT is something that must be avoided. If we don’t drive Putin out, as rapidly as possible, we are sacrificing Ukrainian lives by the thousands. What is Putin doing to avoid provoking US??? NOTHING WHATSOEVER!!! He provokes Ukraine and the West EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! We need to meet Putin with overwhelming force to drive him out of Ukraine. If we DON’T do that, in the name of “not provoking Putin,” democracy is going to LOSE.

  2.  @ZONEPRESSLLC  It is absolutely our business, because Ukraine is only the beginning, like Poland was in the 1930s. If we don’t nip fascism in the bud, next thing we know, it will be beating down OUR doors. It is already happening. We need to fight anti-democratic forces wherever we find them, including Ukraine (including internally, within the US), or else very soon, they will invade the US, and we will be fighting this war on AMERICAN soil. Don’t think that is possible? If so, you are living in the 19th century! The planet has gotten much smaller. The US mainland is now vulnerable. We must NOT let fascism get out of hand. We need to stop Putin while we can, in Ukraine.

  3. You may be right. That’s certainly what SEEMS to be the case! The US CANNOT DEFEAT RUSSIA, IF WE REFUSE TO PROVOKE HIM! Don’t forget, Putin’s nuclear threats are probably empty, but if we submit to them, we can NEVER defeat him. Don’t forget that WE could easily make the same threats against HIM. HIS life, and the lives of all Russians ALSO hang in the balance. If we let Putin blackmail us, with nuclear threats, HE WILL OWN US. I hate to take the risk that Putin is crazy enough to use nuclear weapons, but if we don’t, HE WILL ALWAYS DOMINATE US. We must NOT fear provoking him. We MUST provoke him! We MUST call his bluff, and drive him out of Ukraine.

  4. It might, if they (Ukraine) has enough, good enough weapons. We shouldn’t wait around for Putin to get stronger. We should drive him out NOW, while we have an advantage. While he is weak. He has a supply-line advantage. We need to be strong. Otherwise, it will become much more difficult to defeat him in the future.

  5. No, of course it won’t, all by itself. It is far more likely that upon about the 20th or 30th tranche of weapons will be the turning point, unless of course we submit to supplying Ukraine with a PLETHORA of modern, high-powered weapons, sufficient to drive the Russians back. If we do what we know must be done, the Ukraine War could be over by the end of the year, in fact, it could be over by summer.

  6. Ukraine could use 131 Abrams tanks. It could use HUNDREDS of tanks! Ukraine needs OVERWHELMING FORCE. We can’t give them enough tanks. We must not be afraid to escalate the war. Russia started it and Russia is driving it! What is “provocation?” If taking measures to actually DEFEAT Russia constitutes provocation, e.g. if providing overwhelming force to Ukraine is considered to be an unacceptable provocation, we will NEVER defeat Putin! We don’t suppose Putin is holding back, do we? We cannot defeat the Russians by going easy on them. We MUST confront Putin with sufficient force to drive him out! If we can’t do that, we, meaning Ukraine but also the US, are going to be DEFEATED. We should send Ukraine all the tanks they need, and more. Otherwise, some day, the Russians will be beating down OUR doors.
