  1. Great car, but 5000 hours? That's 2.5 years of work, which even at modest mechanic's wages, say $50K per year, is $125K. That would of course be plus parts and overhead, plus the cost of the car itself, pre-build (I see a nice one for €60K)... I guess that might be reasonable. How much is it worth now? Hopefully, it would be worth over $200K...
