@Brandon-dy8us Those two things contradict each other.

@Thelango99 Hence the contradiction. The OP states that a baby's life is more valuable than that of an elderly person, and then he posits that an increased lifespan is worth more. Had he said "life left to live increases it's value" it would not have been a contradiction.

@turdferguson3400 Who'd have thought that an anonymous account named from an SNL sketch would be such a prat? Should have just left the name at 'Turd', pal.

Longer life spans would require larger brains to accommodate more memories, eventually human evolution would solve this naturally but in the short term we would have to undergo surgical procedures that could leave us looking like Megamind, or John C. Reilly. Discuss.

Eventually you would no longer be able to store new memories or you would have to write over old memories with new ones.

@alphagt62 The Earth is suffering a climate problem, not an overpopulation problem. The Earth could easily handle at least 12 billion people with current tech, it'll just struggle to handle 3 billion if we don't get a grip on carbon production.

Was living forever even covered in the video? I don't think anyone would want to live forever, we would just all like to live longer. The universe is 13 billion years old so it is hardly a relevant comparison to some of us wanting to live to 100 healthily.
