  2. That's the biggest problem I foresee. While you are in a tube you might as well be in space because you could be a hundred miles from safety if you ever broke down, if there was a power failure that left you in a remote location between two stops you would either have to hope help arrived before your oxygen ran out or wish for a mechanism that could allow your section of the tube to be sealed and pressurised in order for you to exit the capsule. Something that would be unlikely if you were underground as it would require emergency oxygen tanks to be installed every other mile.

  3.  @lucasbiermann257  No, that is a libertarian, it is libertarian parties that believe in small government and less red tape. Liberals believe in equality for everyone, even people who identify as helicopters.
