  4. Personally I wouldn't be on YouTube if I was just looking for a question to be answered because YouTube is a place for videos and they tend to have much more of a linear feel to them than just reading. I'm here because I'm not impatient and like watching interesting shit, like most adults.

  5. The heart is a pump, if you pinch the carotid artery then the heart will still drag blood out of your head via the jugular vein. But if you get the chop from a guillotine there is no circulation whatsoever, blood can now only leave your head via gravity and the brain has a million blood vessels that won't empty quickly so that lovely oxygen-rich blood pools in all of the channels of the brain until the brain has used it all up.

  6. Ashutosh, you are thinking of the 'short drop' method that is seen most often in movies, the long drop method is practically instant, like beheading, a person's neck breaks in such a way that they are unconscious within seconds.
