  4. Stopping the confederate states from seceding in the 1860's is the biggest mistake the US ever made, y'all should have just said "Bye! Don't let the Mason-Dixon line hit you on the ass on your way out!" Had you done that then the people of the United States would likely now have bases and spacecraft all over the solar system while the people of the Confederate States would be on a par with Mexico and would always be trying to sneak into the US. Instead you folks thought "Let's keep all of those hillbilly nuggets, this decision surely won't bite us on the ass some day by creating a two-party stalemate between progression and regression where the country eternally stagnates!"
