  5. Rides do not get closed after accidents, that only happens if the ride is found to be inherently dangerous.

  6. Falling is fine, I'd fall all day if I had the option, it's the sudden stop at the end that'll get'cha.

It was a faulty seat that had not been used for 8 years because the seatbelt catch was broken, someone trained up a new worker but never said to them "Don't ever put anyone in that seat because it's broken and the park's too cheap to fix it!" So the new worker inevitably strapped Gabriela in to that seat and the ride was raised up to the top and then dropped 200 feet back down, as it was meant to. While everyone else's fall came to an end at around 10 feet above the ground with their seatbelts saving them Gabriela's seatbelt came free and she got to experience the final 10 feet and then the impact of the ground.
