@rainbowodysseybyjonlion There's a big difference between conquering a country and exterminating a people.

Repeats of the previous frame. 15fps (which was the norm back then) fits perfectly into 60 so they could just show each frame four times, but to make the video appear smoother I'm guessing that they instead meld one frame into another so the second, third and fourth frames would be frame one slowing melding into frame 5, which is the real second frame.

It's not every single one, it's just the American ones, and that is because they were not involved until December 1941. There are plenty of ww2 videos from 1939 made by the British, French and Germans and some as far back as 1935 made by the Chinese and Japanese.

If you could then you would be all thumbs.

It's almost as if cameras are banned there or something.

@UncleRicoOSU There are no cameras at the pentagon, they are not allowed in or outside of the building without express permission.
1
Nothing to do with technology and all to do with storage space. Any camera that has to record for 24hours requires an enormous amount of film/disk, or a massive drop in quality.

If you mean the colourisation then it was likely done by AI as that seems to be the method these days. Teach an AI what materials and objects are in the video and let it do the rest.

Only picture film, there was no colour movie film for handheld cameras as there were no handheld colour cameras yet.
1
Jane Doe I very much doubt that, they were at war with a xenophobic racist but do continue your revision of history.
1
No, you're just expected to acknowledge it. Why on Earth would you feel guilty unless you sympathise with slave owners while knowing it is immoral?
1
@jimmyzoom1143 So just because Russia don't want to acknowledge their past means we shouldn't? Maybe we should become exactly like Russia then? Where you can be arrested for not agreeing with your leader. I'll stick with freedom, thanks.

Except everything here was filmed by Americans and most of it was filmed 6 days before Hitler snuffed it.

@z1re784 You should learn to read some time.
1
@z1re784 I'm not trolling, you have confused 19th century Poland for 1930's Poland, and so my suggestion that you learn to read - or comprehend - what people say still stands. The USSR did not even exist in the 19th century...

Not in handheld cameras though. The technology to make movies like The Wizard of Oz required a camera the size of a tank and it would be decades before the process could be reproduced in a handheld.

So you would never want to be liberated from a tyrannical ruler then?
1
Nope, a colour camera was absolutely enormous and expensive and could never be carried by a single person, you would struggle to get one on a truck.
1
@DAZZYD1977 No, you need both a camera capable of multiple exposures onto different films and then the films for all three or four exposures. Are you sure you aren't confusing still cameras for movie cameras because if you have evidence of a handheld colour movie camera at a time where MGM paid the equivalent of 20 million in today's money just to build one into their studio then I'd be very interested.

@enthalpiaentropia7804 The war only lasted for 6 years...

He's rolling a cigarette.

He stole an American uniform.

@BoxStudioExecutive The Nazis were socialist in the same way that North Korea is a Democratic People-led Republic. You revisionists are hilarious but sadly not harmless.
