  1.  @napoleonblown-aparte4055  How is a STOVL more capable than a VTOL? If you can't take off from a clearing is there any reason to land in one? We replaced a true jump jet with a hop, skip, and jump jet.

  2. Perhaps some day someone will build such a thing, but in the mean time we have the F35 which is a S/TOVL not a VTOL.
