  2. Destroyers had very little armour, they were small, fast hunters designed to hound submarines to death or launch a torpedo at any target of opportunity. Battleships were at the opposite end of the spectrum with nothing but heavy armour and heavier guns making them bulky and slow while cruisers were somewhere in the middle, decent armour, decent guns, decent speed - the jack of all trades, master of none.

  4. The TV show The Durrells is about a British family living on Corfu in the 30's and the island looks like a mish mash of both cultures. Raisins everywhere!
