Myself and my friends (of the time, this is 25 years ago) would drop stones on cars from overpasses but we were like 11 or 12 and we were dropping small rocks to try and hit the car and make people slam on their brakes (yeah, fucked up I know, so glad now that we never hurt anyone), but we were idiot kids and we were hoping to make someone angry. As idiot kids do. The idea of doing it as a 17 year old with something that weighs the same as a bowling ball is just astounding to me, at 17 you are practically an adult - you know that doing bad shit doesn't get you a slap on the wrist anymore, you also know that dropping a bowling ball on a windscreen won't just make a car run off the road, it will kill the person behind the windscreen. 0_O What the fuck were these guys thinking?

Jimmy, that is a stupid thing to say, if being a dumbass and being a murderer had the same sentence then as soon as some people realised they had done something stupid they would be more likely to just decide to go out in a blaze of glory and go on a killing spree seeing as they would be getting the same sentence at the end of the day. Do you know what happened in the 80's when they passed a public-demanded law in the UK for rapists to get the same 20 year sentence as murderers? Reports of rape dropped but reports of murder with signs of sexual assault went through the roof. This is why rational people are responsible for laws instead of the armchair experts who comment on YouTube.
