There are still a smattering of them here and there but nowhere nearly as many as there used to be, they were everywhere, in Dundee the ones in the city all closed or were bought by McDonald's but there's still one at the bowling alley.

I highly doubt that, in the US presenters (or anchors as they graciously call themselves) have egos larger than some of the planets and tend to always have their name featured prominently in their broadcast as if they think they are celebrities.

Why not? All of the food is pre-cooked, the only lengthy thing about fast food is queuing behind 17 people, but once you make it to the counter the actual exchange is still just as quick today. It never takes me more than a minute to be served after my 10 minutes of queuing.

A fast food centre is a location with several different fast food shops, in the US they call them food courts.
