  1. STATor is stationary, ROTor rotates. I had to memorise that when studying electric motors because both stators and rotors come in all sorts of configurations.

  2. JD Bridges would have loved a video like this back in the early 90's, instead he had to settle for being sucked through a fighter jet on the USS Teddy Roosevelt to satisfy his curiousity about jet engines.
