  1. A carrier can only travel as fast as it's slowest escort vessel. No point out-swimming a shark if you also outswim all the people you rely on to protect you from the sharks - you will just end up on your own and get eaten by the next shark.

  2. Actually no, the Russian carrier is ancient and comparable to the Type 001 - this is the Type 003, completely different. Though you'd know that if you bothered to watch the video.

  5. The Chinese carrier can go anywhere in the world and still be safe, as attacking it would be declaring war on a country that would be near unstoppable were it to transform it's economy into one of total war production.
