As a Scot I think I would get on very well with the people of Yorkshire, Thatcher was a cancer on the UK. Hopefully after she snuffed it the devil didn't get finished with her too quickly.

Rockets occasionally explode. Use your noodle, doodle!

Oh, Jesus, No! Unscripted? Biden?! He'll start rambling on about Popeye's chicken and comfy slippers.
11
I hope you'll also love it when your grandchildren live on a planet where food is more valuable than some precious metals and people kill over it.
7
Your observations were wrong.

Then you include failsafes. Wanna know why the 3rd generation reactors in Sweden and France can't be started up? Because they have so many redundancies and backups of backups that they are effectively so complex it's gonna take 5 years to iron out the kinks that keep purposely shutting down the reactor. We finally get to a point where we can build reactors that are harder to start up than shut down and the greeny hippies want us to give up. That's like perfecting organ transplantation after a thousand people have sacrificed themselves as test subjects and then saying "Mmmeh, fuckit. Transplants are pointless, let's stop."
6
What about it? Do you think the more tax you pay the less severe the weather in your area? Christ almighty.
6
True, but a hungry and cold soldier is much more easy to demoralise.
6
@jonye7511 They buy drones from Iran because Iran makes some of the best drones on the planet.
6
There is a shortened version that is used in addresses.

Those countries have their own activists. Also your argument relies on the "others do it so we can too" fallacy.

A lot I would guess, his father moved from Wales to Zambia for an agricultural posting before meeting his wife there and having a son.

+Laura Perez The missing carousel horses replaced by the lasagne and butcher is a reference to the horsemeat scandal where horses in eastern Europe ended up in frozen lasagne and other frozen foods here in western Europe.
3
+iistoastycat Children of Men!
3
Tied? You know when you see things that no one else sees it is called a delusion. Seek help.
3
+James Ramirez Freedom of expression exists in the UK, you can't just infringe upon someone else's rights whenever you smell a way to make some free money like you litigation-crazy Americans with your personal lawyers on speed dial.

Well not exactly the next day, there is no way on Earth that the companies based inside the WTC would be able to find substitute accommodation for 55,000 workers in one night. For one thing it would be completely tactless seeing as many of them would be mourning the loss of colleagues. Some companies also lost their entire workforce in the attack.
3
It's been happening everywhere...
3
Because then Channel 4 would be causing unnecessary division between brexiters and remainers and after 8 years I think everyone is getting a bit sick of brexit being brought up every five minutes.
3
@coylezo No, actually history would confirm this, the truth always surfaces. Or are you saying the Nazis and Stalin were good people and it's only history books saying they were evil?
3
The name is descriptive like you said, it's more of a "how to find us" than a name, and it was chosen to gain notoriety, the town was in a bad way at the time and wanted a gimmick to bring in tourists and so they voted to change their name to a long-winded sentence about trees, whirlpools and a cave :) It looks weird but it's actually just a sentence in Welsh without the spaces.
3
No, but he was during the protests against the building of this mosque 12 years alter... If you struggle to follow a 2 minute video then I would hate to have to watch an entire film with you 0_O

+alex tassot No, he said the artist who designed the entrance was American, 58 people contributed to Dismaland, you should work on comprehension, it'll save lots of arguments in your life.
2
There's nothing in the majority of Texas, there are however billions of obstacles in Greater London, if you travelled at 70mph you would end up inside a wall or a human in under a minute.
2
@uncletomcobley6950 No one will be visiting London, why apply for a visa to come here when you can enter the EU without one and travel freely among 27 friendlier countries on an EU tourist visa?
2
@jamesk1k Then the fires that break out every year in Africa, Australia and Asia hundreds of miles from the nearest road must be caused by ninjas. It's the only explanation.
2
Everyone can do their bit and if you're driving an offroad vehicle that you will never take offroad in your life then you are not doing your bit.
2
Mmmmmm soup. I MEAN NOODLES!
2
@alangardner8596 No, that would be a UN law, an international law is any law between two or more nations. When you take an international flight to the US does it land at every country? The word literally means "between nations".
2
@stephenfowlie742 Ditto, 'mon the referendum!
2
Nothing needs done to the grid, we have one of the best grids in western Europe, it's power generation that needs upgraded because more than 30% of our electricity comes from nuclear and all those reactors have less than 10 years to live.
2
@Flynn Spunks He knows exactly about the real world, he knows that most ambulances arrive within minutes despite what the Daily Mail shits out.
2
The fact you chose to emphasise the word 'he' to describe a trans woman gives me a fair idea why you were shouted at, if you aren't tolerant don't expect to be tolerated. We all share this big blue marble.
2
Actually all of those places are.
2
@tvrtvr6984 Flowers and plants take a year to grow back.
2
@Bob Terwilliger That isn't my standards at work, that is you comparing something immediately repairable to long term damage.
2
Look up "Benedict Cumberpatch Penguins", he calls them something like Peng-wings.
2
In the UK we just re-inflate the tyres ourselves, we haven't used manservants for a long time.
2
Ahh, the hyperbollock Oracle. First they state a crime where none exists and then they state a damage that would only exist if someone drove the vehicle with flats. Hyperbole isn't good for you old chap.
2
What are you talking about? The GFA was overseen by the US and has nothing to do with the EU. And yes, it is an international treaty.
2
@Drummo-ef6kx He is, yeah.
2
@MrKbonez And simpletons who scuttle the ship while being unable to swim go down with it.
2
Being American is fantastic so long as you don't belong to a minority.
2
Doesn't the UK have some of the highest EV charging points per capita? There is a joke in Scotland that we have more chargers than EV cars.
2
@Charles White That is possibly the most idiotic thing I've seen you write yet, and I love it.
2
So you think Eleven from Stranger Things is going around starting fires?
2
Kim Peak was a savant.
1
Somerset Levels Action Group = FLAG? Aye, mibbes no, ken?

+Kim Smith We know microcephaly has been around forever, because it's a brain condition, just like meningitis, encephalitis, hydrocephaly and any other diseases of the nervous system, but they still need to be caused by something. Leprosy made your limbs fall off 1,000 years ago but that doesn't mean that medieval governments created Leprosy to enrich medieval pharmaceutical companies... Shit just happens, not everything belongs in tinfoil-hat territory.
1
+John Smith It's everyone's fault, if you can't run your fucking country in the 21st century then the big dogs are gonna come sniffing. I'm not proud of the actions of the British govt. but at least they can run a country. The US left Iraq with a trained military and hundreds of millions worth of hardware, the Iraqis fucked off and abandoned it all for Isis to collect.
