  3. Then you include failsafes. Wanna know why the 3rd generation reactors in Sweden and France can't be started up? Because they have so many redundancies and backups of backups that they are effectively so complex it's gonna take 5 years to iron out the kinks that keep purposely shutting down the reactor. We finally get to a point where we can build reactors that are harder to start up than shut down and the greeny hippies want us to give up. That's like perfecting organ transplantation after a thousand people have sacrificed themselves as test subjects and then saying "Mmmeh, fuckit. Transplants are pointless, let's stop."
