  6. +NOVA Nope, both prongs have to break the skin.  It's high voltage, but the electricity comes in extremely short bursts so there is not enough time for the current to overcome your skin's resistance and exit to ground.  Though someone in bare feet standing on a wet floor would likely crumple to the ground like a sock even if they were only struck by the upper positive electrode - wet skin severely lowers electrical resistance.

  8. +boy638 You don't have logical thinking.  If you did then you would have realised this entire thing is to advertise Far Cry Primal via the Slo Mo guys.  That mammoth was most likely built for this one video, just an old prop mammoth, a hydraulic press and a large banner of Far Cry Primal.  A few thousand dollars of work that will be seen by several million people thanks to the popularity of the Slo Mo guys. It's called advertising.  My logical thinking did all of the above.

I would never consider any type of steel as pure because steel has a grading system, what is perfect for the hull of a warship may be crap for a Tin can because one has Carbon for strength and the other has Tin for lightness. When you think about it Iron can have a 100% Iron content because it is an element, it can be "pure" atomically, steel however can never be 100% Iron because if it did that it would no longer be an alloy and would be pure Iron. But that is an atomic definition of pure, if we only used that then you could never in a million years have such a thing as pure water because water by it's own definition is made up of two different elements, Hydrogen and Oxygen in a 1:2 ratio so it is 33.33% of one thing and 66.66% of something else. To go with what Leli196 was saying you need to widen your scope to include alloys and compounds of elements, but you can also go in the other direction and simply break things down in to just gases and metals where water actually would be 100% pure, because both elements in it's makeup are gases. It's all about how wide or narrow you define your parameters and since we all define things differently both Jean-samuel boisvert who doesn't consider steel pure and Leli196 who does are both correct by their own definitions.

  19.  @CherryPepis  That isn't a backdraft, that is just feeding oxygen to a fire that is still going. A backdraft is when the fire is technically out but the room still contains two of the three ingredients in the fire triangle - Fuel and heat, when you add oxygen it completes the triangle but re-combustion will only happen once sufficient oxygen has entered the room, hence the delay.

  30. +KOZMOuvBORG Dropping a blob on to a racket you would never reach terminal velocity unless you stood on top of a tall building when you dropped the jelly.  Jelly would just bounce off any racket unless you could get some velocity behind it (aka throwing).  On the use of more gelatin/less water you are completely right, this video could have been better if the jelly was denser due to a better mix.

Andre Armawan 1920x1080 is 2k because the 1920 is rounded up to 2000 so 3840x2160 and 4096x2160 are known as 4k because the horizontal resolution is closer to 4000.  3840x2160 is twice as long and twice as high as 1080 so 4k is four times the size of 2k (adding to the confusion further, if you want to make it even more confusing still then 2k is also known as 2 megapixel, but 4k is known as 8 megapixel.)

The bitrate depends on resolution too, the more frames per second the lower the resolution has to be because a 1080p image will take up X-amount of drive space each frame and with thousands each second eventually you are recording more data than any hardrive can handle so you have to lower the image resolution, this is why the crazy shots like 170,000fps to 340,000fps are very low and blurry. The Large Hadron Collider records about 75 terabytes of data per second during an experiment and requires three floors worth of the largest, fastest hard drives to record a 90 minute experiment. If Gav had the Phantom linked up to a room of harddrives he would not have to quickly hit the button on the camera each time to turn it on and off. but his electricity bill would be phenomenal and he'd have to be rich just to buy them all.
