  1. +Andrew (Lime-y PIE) It's not high definition, it is record rate (not sure what the exact term is called). A camera that can take 2,500 individual high quality images (frames) every second is crazy expensive.  A typical camera might take only 60 frames per second.  After that you also need to buy a very VERY good hard disk drive for the PC you connect the camera too, because 2,500 HD images every second demands a monstrously fast hard drive to record on to. This is why Gav sometimes runs to the camera to switch it on and then runs back to switch it off.  For every second it is running it takes up massive chunks of hard drive space.

  4. +KOZMOuvBORG Dropping a blob on to a racket you would never reach terminal velocity unless you stood on top of a tall building when you dropped the jelly.  Jelly would just bounce off any racket unless you could get some velocity behind it (aka throwing).  On the use of more gelatin/less water you are completely right, this video could have been better if the jelly was denser due to a better mix.
