  2. Cooling towers only ever contain clean water and you get them at coal and sometimes gas power stations as well as nuclear.

TheCaliger Curiosity is fine and all, but there are some things we really must be able to deduct by ourselves.  If we can't fathom that cooling towers might have been in that place because at a point in the past there was a power station using them then it's only a matter of time before YouTube is filled with questions like "Where do I put the other sock?" and "What do I do after I've chewed the food?"
