+santiago cassinelli I know, that watermelon had polystyrene written all over it.

+GmodPlusWoW Animatronic? It was a stuffed mammoth with one leg masking a hydraulic press. It was made for this video, not to walk around at a theme park. Probably wasn't even stuffed, it was probably made from recycled toilet paper.
7
+SkyneT It's only use was this video, it's an advert.
6
+Pixel Puncher0 They grow like weeds over here. Pull one out between your roses and your begonias and tomorrow two will be in it's place.
4
+The Fox For this video, it's called advertising.

What if a child fell underneath another child and created a two-child pile up? Do we have some sort of procedure to handle this?
2
+lilmario0 Gav gets paid to do it for others to see regardless of being good, so that makes him more of an artist. If an average accountant got paid the same as a world=class accountant just for letting people film him he would be an artist. Gav is an artist.

+boy638 You don't have logical thinking. If you did then you would have realised this entire thing is to advertise Far Cry Primal via the Slo Mo guys. That mammoth was most likely built for this one video, just an old prop mammoth, a hydraulic press and a large banner of Far Cry Primal. A few thousand dollars of work that will be seen by several million people thanks to the popularity of the Slo Mo guys. It's called advertising. My logical thinking did all of the above.

+RocketChip Gamming Closer to 20 surely? An elephant weighs 3-5 tonnes.
1
RocketChip Gamming Nah, a typical car weighs one ton. And a single human, or two humans can lift a car (not completely, just two wheels) off of an injured person. An elephant is 3-5 tonnes, a Mammoth is 15-20 tonnes. They were the largest land animal of our time.

Mike234 Dude, you tried to make sense of a joke. It's a joke, it's primary function is to make folk giggle, not make them think "Well he had 5 legs, and we know he started with 8 legs" You are a fucking onion. The fact your next comment after mine had 8 thumbs up compared to my 1 thumbs up is actually gratifying because a reminder of how many of you fucking inbred billhillys are out there strengthens us.

+Leonardo Delgado They reached in to their game, don't you know video games are windows in to other worlds?
1
Ryan Buck The video.

+PCMasterRace Why the hell would a child be there?
1
+snipersteve 25 clearly...
1
+bluelightningfilms For the video, it would not have been a stomping video otherwise...
1
+Moshi It would be, a few thousand dollars or pounds is nothing compared to the amount of views Slo Mo vids get.
1
+rocketman221projects Polystyrene, polystyrene, polystyrene, fake fur, paint, hydraulic press. If that is a robot then so is a battery-operated toothbrush.
1
+SchmidtGaming Yeah, an industrial press.
1
+Saltgurkan55 I believe the correct term is 'Legonian'. RIP little man 2015-2015.

+Fernando Rizo Someone being out of their depth is farcry so it works.

+Madeline McKenzie Language, young lady!

mrbibs350 Nah, but people think it is. In the commonwealth it is no worse than the US 'damned'. Most will overlook it, but a strict person might slap you on the wrist.

+odinofanime Ever play a game called Turok?
1
odinofanime It was a fantastic game, it's had 2 remakes.
1
+TheShadow265 And there are a LOT of them out there. Makes me wonder about the future of our species.
1
+James Grice the other side of the crusher.
1
+Daniel Fleming Making extraordinary amounts of money for 5 minute videos...
1
+ADepressedwhale An industrial press, the same thing factories use to flatten materials.
1
+Xaphan6669 I'm sure you can only sell out if at one point during your previous work you have said something like "Yeah, we're gonna be keeping real old school.. forever, man. Just me and Dan in a backyard sticking it to the man! woohoo!" I don't recall either of them having said that.
1
Xaphan6669 Well, take my example. I'd like to be well off/Rich, I create something that makes me cash, I nurture that thing until I make more cash, I seek advice to know what to best do with that cash, I invest that cash, I become quite well off/rich. Am I a sell out? You are making the assumption Gav and Dan set out to always be backyard cowboys. You are making an assumption. I don't think I have to explain how fucking stupid it is to rely on assumptions.

EZOVERDOSE You were however correct about dust. It's Phosphor dust. The grey, powdery stuff on the inside of the front of a cathode ray tube is Phosphor. It changes colour according to the frequency of electrons it is bombarded with, so if you coat a large area with phosphor and use the electron gun array that CRT's used as a 'projector' (the big lump of technology at the back of a CRT) to fire different frequencies of electrons the Phosphor would glow in different colours. Television. Phosphor is bad because it doesn't break down, it just sits there, so if you inhaled enough to coat 10% of your lungs then for the rest of your life you would only have the use of 90%
