Ironically the ancient game was closer to American footie than it was to soccer, playing with only your feet was one of the last variations of the sport and the one that took over the world because you only need a ball to play it, nothing else. You can make goalposts out of tin cans or as we do in the UK as kids, coats and jerseys.

  2. Yeah, when rugby football was the dominant sport the game played by men's associations became known as assoc and later soccer, but when it became dominant it was called football. That is why people who argue over the name are idiots, there are a hundred variations of the sport and the one that is dominant in your own country is the one you call 'football'. In Australia they play a game similar to rugby which non Aussies call Australian rules football, but Australians just call it football. Because to them that is what it is. They are all called football and none of them are called football, it depends whether you are in a country or looking in to that country.

  5. It's only called a football in countries where it is the dominant sport, wherever it isn't the dominant sport it is referred to by it's official name of association football, or soccer for short.

  10. An old argument dude, Americans and Europeans have been winding each other up about the two sports since before the internet. Be original, my young friend, show those motherfuckers your fighting spirit :D If you're really young just pretend I said motherhubbards...

  11. They have a few bullet videos - one where they destroy melons by shooting them in slow-mo and a cool one where they fire a gun underwater and watch the bullet travel through it. Another is a machine gun on a plane firing in slow mo. Type "slow mo guys bullet" in to Youtube and press enter and it will list all the bullet videos. :)
