  2. A Firefly was an M4A4, this was an M4A3E8 or Easy-8, the guns are very similar though as this used a 76mm gun and the Firefly had a British 76.2mm gun.

  4. Watermelons are full of water, making them an exceptional armour since water is not very compressible. They are not used as armour for the obvious reason that they would be single use armour, but tanks have been known to carry a layer of single use armour on top of their integral armour - water barrels, logs, sandbags, kevlar plates, etc
