  1. They can also cause fires if damaged, as you saw here. A damaged battery from something heavy or sharp falling on it can cause a fire hours later. If you have hundreds I hope you keep them very safely stored away from anything flammable and in a room with a smoke detector.

  2. I try to keep all my lithium batteries in one location away from anything flammable, if I lost one I'd lose them all, but nothing else.
