  4. Yeah, it astounds me that someone so intolerant could be given a job in authority, one with a responsibility to wield lethal force. I wonder how many gay tourists he hounded out of his little patch of territory.. I think small towns in the US could all be classed as their own little cults because what is accepted depends on who is the current longstanding sheriff and what they deem acceptable.

  5. It's not hypocritical in the slightest. Gays at no point stand on street corners saying religion is abhorrent, religious people just take it that way. Religious folk on the other hand actively promote their intolerance and hatred by declaring to the world that what someone is doing is immoral or sinful. You know what the most amoral thing in Scotland is? And has been for about 1200 years? Stepping in to someone else's home and criticising it, you might be hosting a clan that you are in a blood feud with but if invited to your home you will treat them like any other soul and they will do likewise. Respect for the hearth you stand on is demanded or you should eject yourself!
